Java Developer is required with Strong Core Java (J2SE) and a small amount of Salesforce development skills (or the willingness to pick it up) .The role is to work on client connectivity / trading  systems predominantly in Java, the small amount of Salesforce required is to maintain some applications before it is decommissioned. Then the role will become entirely Java, J2SE. Experience in technology, especially with the analysis, design, development and implementation of enterprise systems. Software development experience with at least 3-5 years in an investment banking environment, or equivalent. Experience working with cross-functional and distributed teams. Excellent knowledge of programming best practices, design patterns etc. Knowledge of Java Spring, Hibernate and other de-facto-standard technologies; including open source frameworks relating to workflow. Experience in project and/or agile planning of project and development deliverables. Knowledge of communications protocols and the uses of messaging. Knowledge of SQL. A solid academic background preferably in engineering, sciences or economics.

C++ SQL Unix Middle office Developer – Investment Bank

C++ Developer with experience of C++ to work on Middle office requirements.  Must have analysis skills where you will be able to take the Business Analyst’s requirements and translate them into technical specifications.  The C++ Developer will be expected to create functional specifications directly from end users for smaller projects. Java FX Algo Trading Etrading Developers - Investment Bank


We are looking for 2 Java FX developers who will have strong Java development skills, one will have experience with eFX/FX Algo multi-threaded, low latency systems and will be working closely with trading, Front Office and research as part of a small team to develop and maintain low latency pricing and connectivity systems. The role is focused on our significant but incremental revamping programme to spot and forward pricing engines, as well as the continues introduction of latest low latency technology and architecture.

For the other role you will have experience of Smart order routing (SOR), Algo trading strategies, eFX, Java, low latency, market data, performance tuning, fix messaging Etrading, streaming prices, market making, agency model, DMA, liquidity aggregator, low latency, auto hedging, iceberg, internal matching, EBS, Reuters, currenex, disruptor, smart trade. This role involves sitting on the trading floor working with quants and traders as part of a small team to develop and maintain this award winning suite of algorithmic trading strategies.


You must have experience working in Front Office or Algo trading, preferably within FX.

Primary focus of the role will be C# development, therefore good knowledge of threading and common development patterns such as Producer/Consumer required. Java Serverside development experience required of working on Java Multi-threading and low latency applications in a Front Office/etrading environment, working on Algo trading development or pricing and connectivity systems  Java Development with proven significant and recent SDLC experience on mature, enterprise multi-threaded core Java development projects - greenfield projects should be a minority. Significant prior exposure to high frequency, low latency programming environments - typically in the context of Algo trading or electronic trading for Equities, Commodities, FX or Rates.
